Join Meghan Giroux from Vermont Edible Landscapes and learn how to design, establish and maintain edible ecosystems that mimic the function of natural forests. Explore different plant materials including herbs, perennial vegetables, fruits and berries to increase biodiversity, utilize plants that accumulate nutrients, and create habitat for beneficial insects.

Dr. Mark Starrett from UVM’s Plant and Soil Science Department will share his 30 years of orchid growing expertise with you. He will focus on the easiest orchids to grow at home without a greenhouse, and he will provide details on containers, potting media, watering, fertilizing, and light conditions to help your orchids thrive.
