The Friends of the Horticulture Farm is a grassroots organization dedicated to protecting, enhancing and promoting the significant plant collections and natural areas of the UVM Horticultural Research Center in South Burlington, Vermont for education, research, and public enrichment.

"Reading Your Landscape"

August 23, Saturday, 9 am to Noon

Join University of Vermont Plant Biologist Alicia Daniel for a walk through the history of the Horticulture Farm. You will look at what the clues in the field can tell us about the past and develop an intimate understanding of the natural and cultivated world.

$10 members of the Friends and Master Gardeners, $20 all others. To register, please send an email to info@friendsofthehortfarm.org

"Native Plants for Your Garden" with Marijke Niles

Saturday, September 13th, 9:00 am to Noon

Marijke will introduce you to native plants and their benefits to our environment. Adding native plants to your garden helps to build nature's biodiversity back while saving effort, money and frustration. She will also have native plants from her business, Perennial Gardens Plus available to purchase.
